How It Works
It is very simple and flexible, adapted exactly to your needs.
Everything starts with a conversation. You tell me where you are stuck, what you want to achieve and what you feel is not working in your current editing. I understand your style, your level and your goal before giving you any advice.
We then work together online, on Zoom. You can share your screen and we work directly in your editing program, in real time. Or we can discuss concepts, techniques and approaches without specific material, if you need more direction and inspiration than immediate technical solutions.
I explain exactly what to do, step by step. You edit, I guide. You learn by doing, not by watching someone else edit.
There is no standard formula. Each session is built around your specific problem, whether it is about color, rhythm, storytelling, workflow or inspiration.
The session lasts 3 hours and takes place exclusively online, on Zoom. If the session involves active screen sharing on your material, I record the session and you receive it at the end.

About Me
Why ask me for advice on editing?
I am Marius Axinte, a videographer with over 15 years of experience, with over 200 international awards, many of them won specifically for editing, cinematography and visual storytelling.
Editing for me is not a technical stage. It is where the story truly comes to life.
I have spent thousands of hours in front of an editing screen, working on every frame, every transition, every musical note synchronized with an emotion. I have understood that the difference between an ordinary film and an exceptional one does not lie in the camera. It lies in the editing room.
Over the years I have worked on internationally awarded films and have come to deeply understand what transforms raw footage from a filming day into a film that stays in people’s hearts.

How does booking a session work?
After you complete your purchase, I contact you personally within 24 hours to set the date and time and to understand exactly what editing problem you want to work on.
Can I purchase a session for a colleague or a friend?
Yes, no problem. Specify this immediately after your purchase and we will sort out the details together with the person who will participate.
Is it possible to buy this session more than once?
Yes. Each session addresses a specific problem from that moment. Many clients return after a few months to work on a new aspect of editing or to evaluate their progress.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Use the contact form on the page and I will send you the details for purchasing in up to 2 installments.
Do I receive the recording of the session?
It depends on the format of the session. If we work with active screen sharing on your material, I record the session and you receive it at the end. There will be much more to discuss about concepts and direction than to show on screen, but you can take notes in real time. There is no standard editing material to record.
What editing program do I need to have?
We work in whatever program you already use: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or anything else. I do not ask you to change anything in your current workflow.
Is an invoice issued?
